You will be able to add additional information from their online bookstore with books about Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Edison, William Shakespeare, Ben Franklin, Christopher Columbus, Florence Nightingale and others. There is also information about Abraham Lincoln, for example, on a web site for the Bears. By going to the web site or through books, you can help your child learn more. There is also a timeline on the web site that places the individual bear in the span of history, going back to Christopher Columbus at 1451 through Thomas Edison in 1931. The write-ups are well done with lots of good information. There is a feature about each of the different heroes. The collection pays tribute to the past and helps children understand influential people of the past. These bears are also soft and colorful. Star Rise will be expanding their collection of heroes, in time.
