Illustory is a perfect way to encourage children to write and illustrate their own books. A classic product that has endured over time, this activity kit helps children understand what is involved in producing a book.
This is something children really enjoy doing, and the finished book is something that is cherished and enjoyed for a long time and will become a family collectible. The steps are easy. A child writes and illustrates their story using the materials provided. There are themes suggested such as "Memories" and "My Dog." Other topics include "My Poetry," "Our Family Traditions," and "My First Story." The Illustory price includes a finished book. The young author's work is mailed in for publication. The child receives a twelve page 7 inch by 9 inch book with the child's name proudly displayed as author, and the child's own cover art. The book even comes complete with an "About the Author" page!
